March Networks cashes in

OTTAWA--March Networks inked another contract its ledger this month, winning a deal to be the de facto provider of IP-based digital video surveillance products to Wachovia Bank. March Networks will provide digital video recorders and its enterprise management suite software to all of the bank's 3,500 locations. These products will appear in both retail banking facilities and corporate offices in the United States and abroad. The company began work with Wachovia earlier this year, providing equipment for the bank's access control systems and alarm monitoring center. Wachovia will also deploy a software application at its ATMs that enable video to be reviewed by time and date as well as transaction number. Banks are among the company's target customer segments, which also include retail chains, transportation agencies and government organizations. March Networks' other existing financial clients are Bank One, U.S. Bank and Banco de Chile.
