Milestone adds many new hires

COPENHAGEN, Denmark—Milestone Systems, an open platform IP video management software company, on Sept. 16 announced a number of new hires and promotions. Justin Lott is now the Milestone regional sales manager for Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. He comes to Milestone after nine years in the security industry. Previously product marketing manager for Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Lott was responsible for sales of digital and IP video products across both North and South America.

Brad Cary is the new regional sales manager for the Midwest and will focus on working closely with the Milestone partner channel throughout the plains region. Cary is based near St. Louis, and brings manufacturing experience from working for DVTel and Best Access Systems/Stanley Security Solutions, as well as integrator knowledge from Johnson Controls and Tech Electronics.

Brian Beird started at Milestone in June and serves as the north central territory manager covering Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. He is based out of Chicago and comes to Milestone from Sonitrol Stanley Convergent Security where he was a national accounts manager.

Bob Perez is now transportation sales manager, covering sales for this vertical sector over the entire U.S., from Northern California. Perez built up solution expertise in his previous job as national sales manager/market development manager at Verizon Business and Enerdyne Technologies. On the manufacturer side, he was national sales manager for Verint.

Milestone Presales support engineer teams have been beefed up with the following additions in the Americas: Ishkhan Ishkhanian (previously at Genetec and IBM) and Jared Tarter (from UTC Fire & Security and GE Security).

Inside Sales for the Americas has added Paul Messenger. Messenger has five years experience.
