NASHVILLE, Tenn.--The Central Station Alarm Association announced at the ESX show here on June 26 that Mary Ann Ivy, an emergency dispatch operator at Monitronics, was chosen as operator of the year. Ivy, a senior dispatch operator for more than seven years at Monitronics, was selected by the CSAA for her expertise, dedication to security customers, attitude, perfect attendance and on-time performance records. “We’re extremely proud of Mary Ann,” said Mary Jensby, director of Monitronics’ central-station operation, in a prepared statement. “Those of us who work with her every day know how terrific she is, handling our VIP accounts, training many of our new employees, and doing everything that’s asked of her with a smile. She’s always upbeat and eager to learn new things - so it’s fantastic that the industry has decided to recognize her for being such a leader and team player.”
