NationWide Digital partners with Xanboo for layered services, increased RMR

FREEPORT, N.Y.--NationWide Digital Monitoring, a CSAA Five Diamond Certified central station based here, announced in early March a partnership with Xanboo to provide Xanboo's line of remote security control devices and video monitoring technology. The partnership allows NWD's dealers to distribute, install or integrate Xanboo's products and services for new and existing customers throughout the United States.

Wayne Wahrsager, president of NWD, believes the partnership with Xanboo is timely and will increase the value NWD dealers can provide their customers. "It gives us an edge. It allows our dealers to sell video at a very reasonable price on a mobile platform," Wahrsager said. "People are really looking for that these days."

NWD dealers are now able to sell Xanboo's remote security solutions, which allow end users the ability to remotely view live, streaming video; control multiple CCTV cameras simultaneously; and access up to 30 days of DVR-archived video. Dealers will also be able to offer non-security value-adds such as remote thermostat, water, and electrical appliance control.

Bill Diamond, president and co-founder of Xanboo, believes offering additional services to end users is an idea whose time has come. "What we're really focused on is offering a platform for interactive services for security dealers," Diamond said. "What we do is enable these advanced services to be layered on top of their new and existing security installs ... I believe the security industry has been looking for this for quite sometime, they just haven't found the right product at the right price, and we believe our security-enhanced solution is the solution for both."

Each of the Xanboo systems offered through the NWD partnership is scalable and can be configured to the end user's specific preferences with add-on installations an option at any time.
