NBFAA chooses Gunning

IRVING, Texas--The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association announced in late June its executive committee election results. George Gunning, chief executive officer of USA Alarm Systems based in Monrovia, Calif., was named vice president, president elect for the association. Counte Cooley, president of Electronic Sales Company of Gainesville, Ga., was re-elected for a second, two-year term as vice president. Mike Miller, vice president and co-owner of Moon Security Services of Pasco, Wash., was also re-elected for a second, two-year term as the group's treasurer. All three board members began their new terms on July 1. Gunning will shadow Scot Colby, the present president of the NBFAA, for a year and then assume the role of NBFAA president in July of 2006.
