SILVER SPRING, Md. - The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association has endorsed an extended warranty program for its commercial alarm dealer members to offer to customers.
Benefits of the five-year program include coverage in the event of equipment defects and installation failures. New and existing alarm systems qualify for protection under the venture.
Backed by insurance coverage, customers pay for the warranty in their monthly monitoring payments.
NBFAA members receive a discount that equates to 10 percent savings as a result of the deal. The program is possible through a revenue sharing agreement between NBFAA and the Security Finance Association.
