SILVER SPRING, Md. - The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association has endorsed an extended warranty program for its commercial alarm dealer members to offer to customers.
Benefits of the five-year program include coverage in the event of equipment defects and installation failures.
Backed by insurance coverage, customers pay for the warranty in their monthly monitoring fee.
NBFAA members receive a 10 percent savings as a result of the deal. The program is possible through a revenue sharing agreement between NBFAA and Security Finance Associates.
