The NBFAA stakes its place with fire installation course

SILVER SPRING, Md.--The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association introduced an online training course in April called Fire Alarm Installation Methods that is one in a series of classes designed to reduce time and expenses typically involved in educational seminars. NBFAA designed the course for fire alarm designers and technicians, targeting subject matters that include service, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems. With the ability to complete the online version of this class, students are able to avoid travel to a learning site and sit through a two-day program. NBFAA, through the association's National Training School division, introduced its first online course, titled Alarm Technician, Level 1, last October. NBFAA priced both this class and the previous one at $297 for association members and $495 for non-members.
