Network Multifamily to host certification class

IRVING, Texas--Network Multifamily will host Oregon's certification trainer course this month at the Harvey Hotel on June 21. Central stations must recertify to Oregon's standards every two years in order to monitor customers in this state. The Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training is sending an instructor to Texas to train any central station representative that wishes to be certified in the state's monitoring standards. Central stations pay for the class and travel expenses of the Oregon representative. Under this arrangement, they are able to save money by traveling locally instead of sending individuals across the country. Network Multifamily, which hosted this class two years ago, encourages any central station that is interested to take part in the class. In the past, companies such as Monitronics, Protection One, Security Associates International and Coastal Security have participated. The Harvey Hotel is located near the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport.
