QUINCY, Mass. - The National Fire Protection Assoc-iation’s board of directors has named Michael E. Newman to a three-year term on the association’s Standards Council. Newman is a mechanical engineer and manages the fire protection and property loss prevention programs of Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, N.J. He replaces R. Ian Stronach on the council.
