NextAlarm.com and Lasershield team up Brief

LAS VEGAS--NextAlarm.com May 8 announced an agreement with LaserShield Systems, whereby LaserShield will market its new Sparrow device. Sparrow is a translator device that plugs into a user's Internet router and transmits alarm signals over NextAlarm's Alarm Broadband Network (ABN). Unlike traditional alarm system communicators, which require standard telephone lines, Sparrow uses the user's broadband Internet connection to send signals. This allows the ever-growing number of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and digital telephone subscribers to have their LaserShield systems monitored and take full advantage of the Rapid Response monitoring service. "We're very pleased to join LaserShield in this endeavor," said Alex Elliot, NextAlarm's founder and CEO. "With this venture, LaserShield subscribers will benefit with a VoIP solution for alarm monitoring."
