ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.- NICE Systems will provide equipment and install the state’s first digital video recording system for gaming surveillance at Caesars Entertainment’s Bally's Atlantic City casino resort.
The New Jersey Casino Control Commission approval follows a two-year trial of the technology at the casino and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement’s recommendation.
Previously, the state only allowed the use of digital technology for security purposes. Bally's will replace analog video tape recorders with digital recorders with hard drives. The upgrade, which will enable the facility to monitor activities on the casino floor, is slated for completion by the end of the year.
Products provided by NICE Systems include its NiceVision Harmony and NiceVision Pro.
