Northrop picks FBI team

MCLEAN, Va.--Northrop Grumman has named its team of partner companies for the Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Justice Information Services Next Generation Identification competition. The NGI is a 10-year development, operations and maintenance program that will provide biometric services to support the FBI's intent to go beyond rolled fingerprint matching and include such methods of identification at facial, palm print and iris recognition. Northrop's biometrics team includes BearingPoint, General Dynamics, Raytheon, Azimuth, Key Logic Systems, IBM, BEA Systems, Cisco Systems, EMC, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, I3, and Ideal Innovation. They are a mix of international and small companies from West Virginia.
