NTC, Wild Bullet collaborate to ‘Train the troops’ Brief

LAS VEGAS - The National Training Center, located here, in February announced a program called Train the Troops. The program is offered free of charge to recently discharged military service personnel to train them for low-voltage-industry careers. Charles Aulner, CEO of NTC, said in a statement, “Many returning service members are discharged within two months of returning from the battlefield. This does not provide them with much time to find work in the civilian sector. “I thought, what better way to give back to our troops than to do what we are good at, and give the very best low-voltage training to the US troops; at the same time provide the industry with well trained and qualified individuals.” In total, NTC is contributing $294,000 in training and materials to Train the Troops. The program will be offered twice during 2008. NTC’s partner in this program is WildBullet.com. Wild Bullet, a low-voltage industry recruiting firm, will assist service members in finding employment. Wild Bullet provides career placement services for qualified low-voltage professionals. To find out more about the program visit www.TrainTheTroops.org.
