Numerex and DMP release panel with optional cellular back-up

ATLANTA--Numerex, a developer of wireless M2M (machine-to-machine) solutions, and Digital Monitoring Products, a U.S. manufacturer of alarm control panels, announced yesterday the release of the DMP XR500, an integrated intrusion, fire, and access control panel with optional digital cellular back-up. Powered by Numerex Networks and Uplink, Numerex's security division, the AnyNET-DMP wireless communications device will provide instant notification--and uninterrupted alarm communications--to central stations in the event of phone-line outages or internet service interruption. This comes on the heels of DMP's announcement last week that its panels are now compatible with Telguard Digital cellular alarm from Telular.
