ObjectVideo, Milestone unveil partnership at IFSEC

BIRMINGHAM, U.K.--Two companies known as leaders in their respective industries-- ObjectVideo for its intelligent video system and Milestone Systems for its open platform IP video surveillance software-- announced a strategic alliance during IFSEC this week.
The two companies will work together by integrating ObjectVideo's intelligent video capabilities with Milestone's IP video surveillance software.
According to Lars Thinggaard, chief executive officer and president of Milestone Systems, the alliance will enable customers "to more effectively leverage video they are already capturing."
Company officials expect the pairing will benefit customers in banking, retail, transportation, homeland security and other key industries.
