SECAUCUS, N.J.--Panasonic Security Systems opened a technical support center in August that will support all of the company's dealers and system integrators throughout the country.
The national support center, located Rockville, Md., provides a variety of support functions, such as an expanded technical hotline, product service, sales returns and advanced exchanges. The facility was created with an IP-based phone system and a customer relationship management platform.
The company's decision to create a central support area developed from the evolving needs of its customers.
"As the technical nature of our industry becomes more complex, it is equality important that we evaluate and improve our support capabilities on an on-going basis," said Frank DeFina, president of Panasonic System Solutions, in a written statement.
