IRVING, Texas--Network Multifamily Security Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Protection One, and GE Security announced yesterday an agreement where GE Security will supply its Allegro Collector wireless security systems and property management software to Network on an exclusive basis in the residential market. The country's largest multifamily-specific alarm system and services provider, Network will market the product as the Multifamily 360.
The solution specifically addresses apartment complexes where residents rely solely on cell phones or are likely to move frequently. Because it is wireless, it is easy to install and uninstall. Also, it can monitor individual apartments without needing a phone line for each residence.
Network Multifamily, in another growth move, recently completed a $1 million renovation of its central station here.
