Pro One invests in Irving monitoring operation

IRVING, Texas--Network Multifamily Security Corp., a subsidiary of Protection One, announced on Tuesday that its monitoring and customer service operations based here will also service commercial and national accounts and that the company has made facility upgrades to include multiple levels of redundancy, video monitoring and access control and biometrics technology. The $1million technology facelift comes after Pro One's January announcement that it would invest more resources in Network Multifamily Security Corp., a provider of alarm systems exclusively to apartment buildings. The expanded facility, with additional accounts, will provide services and product offerings such as central station-based access control and surveillance solutions, with a goal "to meet the increasing demand for security providers to enhance and improve these types of services and to address specific and varying customer needs," said Richard Ginsburg, Protection One's president and chief operating officer, in a written statement. For more information about Protection One's upgraded facility see the July issue of Security Systems News.
