Product demand is no barrier for Delta

VALENCIA, Calif. - Vehicle barrier manufacturer Delta Scientific has added a temporary facility here to keep up with demand for its barrier product line until it can relocate into a new 125,000 square foot facility.
Company officials plan to move into the yet-to-be-built facility in Palmdale, Calif., sometime in the near future. It will supply room for future growth and consolidate operations now taking place in four separate buildings.
“These last two months have been our highest shipping months ever,†said David Dickinson, senior vice president of Delta Scientific. He said to meet security demands since Sept. 11, 2001, its production has more than doubled.
