EXTON, Pa.--As part of the company's effort to attain UL listing, The Protection Bureau upgraded its central station software to Micro Key Software's Millennium platform and at the same time marked the event by receiving its 12th-million alarm signal.
The Protection Bureau previously operated Micro Key's CS-1 platform for approximately 10 years. Founded in 1975, the systems integrator monitors 5,000 accounts and does not provide third-party monitoring.
"Our plan by upgrading to Millennium is that we will be able to provide enhanced services to our clients," said company president Matthew Ladd. These new applications include video monitoring and electronic notifications via e-mail.
