Quantum Secure gets $4m in funding

SAN JOSE, Calif.--Quantum Secure, a maker of security command and control software, announced in early April a $4 million Series A funding round led by Dunrath Capital. Brian Gannon, general partner with Dunrath, said in a statement his company "is impressed with Quantum Secure's vision for addressing such a complex pain point of the market. We conducted a detailed search of the market to find a mature next-generation technology addressing the growing need for convergence of physical security with IT security." Gannon and his Dunrath colleague Jim Kopczynski also joined Quantum's board of directors.
