Technician solves baby problem DENVER - An alarm technician was able to calm an angry customer and solve a strange problem with the customer’s Concord Pro 6000 alarm panel after determining that the customer’s 16-month-old baby was unintentionally arming the home alarm system. The customer had called Rocky Mountain Alarms here to complain that the alarm system was apparently arming itself and would sound an alarm when the homeowner opened a door when the system was supposed to be disarmed. A technician who visited the residence spoke with the customer’s nanny, who told him the toddler liked to play with the telephone. The technician then determined that the baby had actually been accidentally setting the alarm over the telephone without the customer’s knowledge.
