Safeguard plays a role in TV series

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--Safeguard Security and Communications, a full-service security provider here, provided the security system for a new veterans center in Northeastern Arizona on the ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show, which was a tribute to Army Spc. Lori Piestewa who died in 2003 in the Iraq War, centered around building a new home in Flagstaff, Ariz., for Piestewa's family. The veterans center was also built in Piestewa's honor. Safeguard installed keypads, door and window sensors, and motion detectors. Safeguard's Chief Executive Officer John Jennings said the company was proud to take part in the project.
