SafetyCare announces two new Authorized Partners

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla and AUSTIN, Texas--SafetyCare on Nov. 4 announced two new additions to their national Authorized Partner Program. Lifecall, LLC of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., will now offer SafetyCare's security monitoring and emergency response communication service to its clients in South Florida and the Treasure Coast, while Austin, Texas-based Independent Living Solutions will supply SafetyCare's security and emergency response solutions to clients in central Texas. SafetyCare customers have pushbutton access to a 24/7 system of safety and security that puts them in immediate voice contact with trained response personnel at the SafetyCare Response Center, based in Reading, Pa. Every member of the highly trained response team--all certified EMTs--has years of experience working with people who need immediate assistance. Lifecall president Steve Palermo expects to see an increase in sales and satisfaction due to the partnership. "When I looked at what SafetyCare had to offer, they had the whole package," Palermo said. "The quality of the product, the long battery life and the response center staffed by certified EMTs were all impressive and I truly feel like I'm a partner in this organization," Palermo said in a statement. ILS principal Alan House agrees. "We're confident the SafetyCare product will be relied upon more and more as the security industry evolves in central Texas," House said in a statement. "We are pleased to be the first in the region to provide this valuable service for our customers." SafetyCare general manager Michael Bodnar said there are several factors he expects will contribute to more SafetyCare Authorized Partners in the future and a boost to the PERS industry, in general. "PERS is a hot topic now for a variety of reasons," he said. "First and foremost, we have an aging population with the Baby Boomer generation coming to this kind of young senior category right now," Bodnar said. "In competitive times and down economic times in the traditional security industry, I think that PERS has piqued the interest of your traditional burglar and fire alarm companies because it's an alternative source for recurring revenue."
