Schneider purchases APC, links with Integral Technologies Brief

BOSTON--Schneider Electric, owner of TAC and Integral Technologies, which operate in the integration and DVR manufacturing spaces, respectively, announced in February the acquisition of American Power Conversion. On the heels of that, Integral announced a strategic partnership with APC, teaming Integral's scalable video monitoring and access control manufacture with APC's IT-infrastructure design. The hope is that APC will help Integral offer the market security solutions with improved equipment reliability, increased system uptime, and preventative system maintenance.
