Security Bus. Dev. Forum keynoters announced

YARMOUTH, Maine - The editors of Security Systems News are pleased to announce that Yvonne Hao, vice president of North America for ADI, will deliver the opening keynote address, and Bob Ryan, vice president of sales and marketing for ASG Security, will deliver the closing keynote address at Security Business Development Forum, a new conference that will take place May 19 and 20 at the Renaissance Harborplace in Baltimore. The new conference is designed for CEOs, executive level management and owners. “It’s all about business—how traditional security alarm installers and systems integrators can create new revenue streams by entering into non-traditional fields that are compatible with their current business model or by creating new sales and marketing opportunities for products and services they already sell,” said L. Samuel Pfeifle, editor of Security Systems News. “We’re thrilled to have Yvonne Hao as our opening speaker. As one of the largest distributors, ADI is extremely influential in the direction of the market, and we believe attendees will be very interested to hear what Yvonne has to say about the growth opportunities available throughout the industry,” Pfeifle said. Bob Ryan will close the conference with a talk about getting creative with service offerings. “Companies across the country are watching to see what ASG Security will do next,” Pfeifle said. “Attendees can look forward to wrapping up the conference with valuable insight from Bob, who’s been a key player at ASG Security since its inception in 2003.” In between the two keynote addresses will be two days of seminars that detail ways installers and integrators can use their existing skillsets and technology knowledge to generate increased revenue and enter ancillary markets, including high-end home A/V, medical monitoring, home automation and fire installation. Further, the conference will provide seminars on best practices, selling tactics, and new business models, such as the “summer selling model.” All seminars will be conducted by peers working in the industry along with manufacturers looking for dealer representatives and partners. The conference is sponsored by PSA Security and PSA-TEC, which is collaborating with United Publications on educational programming.
