PASEDENA, Calif.-Industry veteran Tony Smith told Security Systems News at ISC West that "more than 50 dealers have signed on" to his new Security First Authorized Dealer Program.
Smith's program is focused on "funding dealers' equipment and installation at a profit competitive with the large ‘big box' programs, yet allowing [the dealer] to retain ownership of the monitoring contract."
The program, which is not exclusive, is designed to give the dealers and their customers "the financial tools to do CCTV, audio/video, access control as well as monitored systems at affordable rates."
Other components of the program include: no holdbacks; FICO 550+ and renters accepted; residential and commercial customers; funding for bulk commercial (CCTV) and bulk residential (audio-video).SSN
