Purpura comes to United with more than 10 years’ experience in business-to-business publishing. He most recently served as publisher of Wireless Design & Development Magazine, an Advantage Business Media publication, where he had overall responsibility of the magazine’s operation, including strategic planning, print and online product development, staffing, production, revenue growth and territory forecasting. Purpura was promoted to publisher at WDD after serving as associate publisher and regional sales manager for various publications under ABM, formerly a division of Reed Business Information. “I am extremely excited to be joining the United Publications team.
