FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Security systems took top billing as the most popular amenity found in million-dollar homes, according to a survey conducted by Coldwell Banker Previews International, the luxury arm of the real estate brokerage firm, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
The firm surveyed 300 U.S. homeowners with primary residence valued at more than $1 million. Eighty-six percent of respondents had home security systems.
The second most popular amenity was professional landscaping, at 67 percent, followed by designer kitchens at 65 percent. Limo drivers and live-in help were the least popular amenities, at one percent and four percent, respectively.
