Chantilly, Va.--Security & Energy Technologies Corp. became the first central station in the Washington, D.C., area in April to offer Honeywell's AlarmNet services.
AlarmNet enables central stations to offer alarm signal monitoring to those locations without traditional telephone lines. The service provides both primary transmission and back-up transmission of alarm signals through a wireless network or the Internet.
