CLEVELAND, Ohio--An A4S-manufactured ShiftWatch Transportation Video Surveillance System captured footage of a stabbing incident on a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority trolley. Cleveland police used the footage to identify and capture the suspect. The case garnered national media attention.
The ShiftWatch system creates broadcast quality footage synchronized with audio and other data like GPS, speed and event switches. A4S's systems are installed in Kansas City, Mo., Lafayette, Ind., and Stockton, Calif. According to Cleveland authorities, all new trolleys and every future bus will have the ShiftWatch system installed.
