SIA announces Taylor as sales manager

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Security Industry Association announced June 26 that Alain Taylor has joined the organization as its sales manager. Alain will be responsible for selling the security industry resources offered by SIA as well as sponsorships at SIA events.
Prior to joining SIA, Alain worked as the director of corporate relations for the Direct Marketing Association, where he spearheaded fundraising, membership and business development activities for the Washington, D.C., office of the trade group. Before this, he was director of membership and grassroots affairs with the American Financial Services Association, where he was responsible for the recruitment and retention of mortgage companies, industrial banks and diversified financial services firms and for developing and implementing the association's grassroots program. He has also worked as the director of corporate relations for the American Council of Life Insurers.
