SIA prepares for cross-country tour

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Security Industry Association will hold its first Certified Security Project Manager program this month in Chicago.

Over the next six months, the CSPM program will visit six cities and offer seven classroom programs. The program is a professional project management credential designed specifically for experienced security dealers and system integrators.

Attendees are required to complete a self-directed review of topics that cover access control and IP systems, backgrounds of CCTV and project management fundamentals. In addition to visiting the Windy City twice, the program is slated to stop in Dallas, Denver, New York, San Francisco and Washington.
