SIAC reappoints Martin, Mowrey

The Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC) on March 16 announced the reappointment of executive director Stan Martin and law enforcement liaison Glen Mowrey to the International Association of Chiefs of Police Private Sector Liaison Committee (PSLC). Both Martin and Mowrey will continue to serve as voting members with terms or service set to end in 2011. “The IACP would like to thank both Stan and Glen for their dedicated support of this committee,” said PSLC co-chairperson Radford W. Jones.  “Their work in the area of false alarm reduction and other related activities has been outstanding. Plus, the knowledge, contacts and respect held by these two gentlemen in the law enforcement community and private sectors have helped in providing a needed perspective to the work of the PSLC.” The Private Sector Liaison Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police is composed of representative members from all facets of the private security sector and the law enforcement community. The role of the committee is to strive to improve the relationship between the private sector and public sector by the discussion and dissemination of meaningful data on a continuing basis.
