ORLANDO, Fla.--SmartWatch Security & Sound in January of 2008, working as a subcontractor for PCL Construction, completed the initial phase of the Central Security Command for Veranda Park, here in Orlando. The security center, located in the heart of Building 4000, is designed and equipped to serve as a centralized hub for all electronic security being installed in the buildings presently under construction as well as future buildings in this multi-phase project. Designed by HDR Engineering of Orlando, the electronic security package comprises integrated CCTV surveillance, access control and call assist intercom systems, making Veranda Park one of the most secure, according to SmartWatch, if not the most secure group of commercial and residential buildings in Orlando.
