Sonitrol selects Telular for move from analog to digital

BERWYN, Pa.--Sonitrol Corporation, an electronic security company based here, announced in September it has selected Telular Corporation, a manufacturer of wireless products based in Chicago, to provide the company with digital cellular alarm products.
Sonitrol will employ Telular's Telguard Digital product to replace its analog alarm units for the impending FCC sunset clause which will take effect in February 2008.
"Telguard Digital provides a reliable and economical transition from analog to digital," said Gregg Groenemann, vice president of marketing for Sonitrol, in a prepared statement.
