Per Mar acquires A-1 |

DAVENPORT, Iowa--Per Mar Security announced May 7 the acquisition of A-1 Alarm Company of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Terms of the deal were not released. The former owners of A-1, Jim Poorbaugh is retiring. The deal will bring with it 700 accounts, and Mike Weiland, Cedar Rapids Electronic Security general manager, will oversee the transition.

Poorbaugh had been in the alarm business since 1972.
