Changes at the top for Bosch
STUTTGART and OTTOBRUNN, Germany--Bosch Security Systems announced this week that chairman Uwe Glock will now head Bosch Thermotechnology as chairman, and will be replaced by Gert van Iperen. Further, Peter Ribinski will replace van Iperen overseeing the global business units responsible for security systems product development.

Van Iperen has been a Bosch Security board member since 2005, coming to the company through the 2002 acquisition of Philips subsidiary Communication Security and Imaging. He headed video surveillance system products from 2002 to 2005 at Bosch.

Ribinski served as president of Bosch Security Systems North America from 2001 through 2005, prior to Shamus Hurley, and most recently has served as a member of the Bosch Power Tools board, responsible for production and logistics.
