Juval Aviv to keynote Security Profiling for Survival

YARMOUTH, Maine--International security expert Juval Aviv will keynote Security Profiling for Survival, a conference dedicated to the use of behavior profiling and technology to protect people and assets, developed by Security Directors News.

Juval Aviv is currently president and CEO of Interfor, Inc., an international corporate intelligence and investigations firm. Before founding Interfor, Aviv served as an officer in the Israel Defense Force (Major, retired) leading an elite Commando/Intelligence Unit and was later selected by the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad) to participate in a number of intelligence and special operations in the late 1960s and 1970s. In addition, while working as a consultant with El Al Airlines, he conducted a survey and update of the airline's security program.

Aviv is the author Staying Safe: The Complete Guide to Protecting Yourself, Your Family, and Your Business, which outlines the essential tools for personally for the security and safety. He is also the author of The Complete Terrorism Survival Guide; Max, a fictionalized account of the investigation into the death of British media mogul, Robert Maxwell; and Flight 103, a fictionalized account of the investigation into the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.

Security Profiling for Survival will be held Oct. 19-21, 2008, at The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. Over two days, the conference will include a single-track educational session coupled with an exhibition floor that will showcase the latest technologies and services that can augment the incorporation of behavior pattern recognition in an organization.
