Stanley secures airport with access control system

INDIANAPOLIS - Stanley Security Solutions, a provider of access control and security systems, signed a contract in April to install an integrated access control system at a new Thailand airport. Stanley installed its PAC SecureNet integrated access control solution on 600 controlled doors at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok. The project was developed and completed through Stanley Security Solution's PAC International division and represented one of its largest single installations at a major international airport. The contract also includes additional software and hardware components, Thai translation as well as interface design and implementation. The airport will serve as a regional gateway to Asia and Australia and will run in tandem with the Thai capital's existing airport. It is also designed to handle up to 45 million passengers a year. The entire system is expected to be fully operational by August 2005, ahead of the first scheduled flight into the airport at the end of September.
