Stephen Flynn joins Dowley Security Systems Leading Homeland Security expert to serve as new senior security advisor

HOUSTON—Dowley Security Systems, a global security solutions integrator, on Oct. 19 announced Stephen Flynn has joined the company as senior security advisor. Flynn is a veteran national security executive and author whose extensive experience includes his current role as president of the Center for National Policy. He also serves as a member of the blue-ribbon Bipartisan National Security Preparedness Group, co-chaired by former 9/11 Commission chairs, Gov. Tom Kean and Congressman Lee Hamilton, which makes recommendations to Congress and the Obama Administration on non-partisan solutions for enhancing national and homeland security. Flynn spent a decade as a senior fellow for National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, and served as the lead policy advisor on homeland security for the presidential transition team after the election of President Barack Obama.
