Survey says: Americans want self-monitored security Brief

LAS VEGAS--Seventy-two percent of Americans want the ability to monitor their homes while away, said a survey released by Z-Wave Alliance in January. The majority of respondents are looking to use the technology for safety and security purposes, such as monitoring who is in the house and knowing when their children arrived home safely from school. The nationwide poll surveyed 1,000 Americans, and was administered in collaboration with Kelton Research.
