TAC names Drees new Americas president

DALLAS--TAC, an international security and building systems integrator owned by Schneider Electric, announced this week the appointment of Jeff Drees as president of TAC in the Americas region and executive vice president of TAC worldwide. He will be responsible for strategic planning and management for the performance and growth of the company in North, Central and South America. Drees joined TAC in 2001 and has served in the Partner, Energy Solutions and Systems Integration divisions. Before that, Drees held management and engineering positions with Caterpillar and Honeywell, after serving as a technician in the United States Air Force. TAC employs more than 7,500 people worldwide, with partners and branches in 80 countries. Schneider, which recently purchased camera-maker Pelco and teamed it with TAC, employs more than 112,000 and has operations in 190 countries.
