TechSec picks Dallas for 2007

TechSec picks Dallas for 2007 Call for presentations went out May 1

YARMOUTH, Maine--TechSec Solutions, the premier conference focused on IP security technology and the convergence of physical and IT security, has announced Dallas, as its location for 2007. The conference will be held February 26 through 28, at The Fairmont Dallas. Pre-registration for the conference is now open at www.techsecsol.com. In preparation for the 2007 conference, a call for presentations was issued May 1. Conference programmers, headed up by Security Systems News editors Chelsie Woods and L. Samuel Pfeifle and Security Director News editor Andrea Gural, are soliciting presentations by individuals or panels focused on unique solutions centered around IP technology, situations where physical security and IT departments have been asked to work closely together and new technology that will better utilize the IP network to further the cause of a more secure environment. They are asking that presentations not be company-centric, and that as much of the channel as possible be a part of case studies and other presentations. The deadline for one-page summaries and outlines to be considered is June 15. Selected presentations will be notified by July 25. Presentations may be sent by email to presentations@securitysystemsnews.com.
