They’re blowing smoke

I just read your article “Neighbor’s system stops fatal disaster” (SSN June ’04) and I can tell you we have to compete with this type of system all the time, where the competitor is telling the potential client all they only need is one smoke detector even in a two-story dwelling.

They don’t even think about heat detectors. All they care about is making the sale and it is the low, no money down companies that don’t train their sales people or they just don’t care.
