Trans-Alarm achieves CSAA 5 Diamond Status Brief

BURNSVILLE, Minn.--The Central Station Alarm Association announced in June that Trans-Alarm, of Burnsville, Minn., has successfully attained the CSAA Five Diamond Certification. All central station operators at Trans-Alarm achieved proficiency and certification by passing the CSAA Central Station Operator Training Course Level I, which covers all aspects of central station communications with customers, law enforcement, fire and emergency services. In order to achieve the Five Diamond Certification, each operator passed the course and demonstrated: proficiency in alarm verification, the ability to communicate with Emergency/911 personnel, knowledge of electronic communications equipment, and an understanding of codes and standards associated with other security industry-related organizations, such as Underwriters Laboratories, among other things. Terrence Mullett, chief executive officer and president of Trans-American Security Services, the parent company of Trans-Alarm, stated in a provided release, "Achieving Five Diamond Central Station certification is a major milestone towards our continuing quest to deliver fanatical customer service. "
