Tri-Ed offers incentives for dealers and their customers

WOODBURY, N.Y.--As part of Tri-Ed's latest marketing efforts this spring, the distributor unveiled a customer loyalty program and sales incentives for dealers selling security systems. In March, Tri-Ed teamed with XM Satellite Radio to offer a free radio to its dealers' customers with the installation of a security system. The objective of the program is to provide dealers with a competitive edge, said chief executive officer Steve Roth. The Tri-Ed XM Advantage program "allows our customers to combine one of the fastest growing consumer electronics technologies with a state-of-the-art security system," Roth said. Tri-Ed's customer loyalty program rolled out April 1. It is called Great Expectations and rewards customers new and existing with points on every purchase made at locations throughout North America, with bonus points offered for participating manufacturers' products. Enrollment for the program is free and dealers receive a variety of gifts when they redeem their purchasing rewards points.
