PENNSAUKEN, N.J.--Tri-Ed Distribution has added yet another branch to its current list of more than 30 locations in the United States and Canada. The new Pennsauken, N.J., branch, which opened this August, offers same-day shipping to the entire New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware region. Tri-Ed opened the new branch, according to company officials, to better serve new security professionals in the Philadelphia area.
"Everyone at Tri-Ed strives to give our customers what they need, when they need it and at a reduced cost," remarked Buzz Jackson, manager of the Pennsauken branch, in a recent press release. Jackson, a 15-year veteran of the security industry, joined Tri-Ed this past May.
Karrie Tynan, an active member of both the Delaware and Pennsylvania Alarm Associations, joined Tri-Ed this past July as a sales associate for the Pennsauken branch.
In addition to adding new branches and creating new dealer programs, Tri-Ed also views a top-level staff as a high priority. In a follow-up interview, a Tri-Ed representative said the company is currently recruiting top-level people with strong industry experience on both the regional and branch level.
Tri-Ed's internal sales force is trained through the Master's Training Program, a program born last year with the support of many industry manufacturers including Dedicated Micros, Toshiba, HAI, Xantech, Samsung/GVI and Inter-Tel. Methods of training vary among manufacturers, but some topics discussed include and media storage and DVR configuration.
In addition to the newly opened Pennsauken branch, other new Tri-Ed locations include Boston, Buffalo, New Orleans, San Antonio and Minneapolis.
