Two former government insiders, Tenet and Dole, keynote ASIS 2006

SAN DIEGO--George Tenet, the director of central intelligence from 1997 to 2004, and Bob Dole, the former U.S. Senate Majority Leader, presidential candidate and a recognized war hero, will keynote this year's ASIS International 52nd Annual Seminar and Exhibits here. On Tuesday Sept. 26, Dole will speak on "Leadership and Values in the 21st Century." In his speech, Dole is expected to share examples of his experience in military and public service, as well as his work in the private sector. Tenet, who served under two presidents and led a team of 14 foreign intelligence organizations as CIA director, will keynote on Wed. Sept. 27, from 8 to 9 a.m. Tenet will share with the audience his strategy while director of the CIA to streamline the nation's capacity to acquire, analyze and disseminate information critical to fighting global terrorism.
